Dan-Olufemi is an Information Technology expert with a Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech) degree in Computer Science from Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Bauchi. Dan commenced his career in 1991 as a research Analyst with the National Cereals Research Institute Badeggi Niger State where he developed statistical models for improved agricultural yields. He joined the University of Abuja a year later as a graduate assistant lecturing in the field of Mathematics and Computer science. In his quest for excellence, he moved to Oceanic Bank in 1993 as a software developer and rose on this path to becoming the Ag. CIO for Ecobank Nigeria after the merger of both institutions in 2011. He later became the Head, Ecobank Software Centre: an innovation centre of excellence for Ecobank Group that is focused on software build and deployment across Ecobank affiliates in 36 African countries in 5 languages. He held this position for 2 years before joining Cornerstone as Chief Technology Officer in 2019. He is a certified E-business Consultant (Design and Implementation), Certified Quality Management Systems expert (ISO9001) & Lead Auditor with various other certifications in the field of IT Governance: COBIT and ITIL. He has also attended many IT and leadership trainings in 3 continents of the globe.
